The Director of Military Intelligence presents his

compliments to the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies

and begs to forward herewith a copy of a map of the Adjoining

Provinces of Russia, China and Japan No. 1102 (Copy 203) for

favour of transmission to H.E. the Governor and Commander-in-

Chief, Hong Kong, if there is no objection at the Colonial

Office.

General Sir John Ardagh would be obliged if, when for-

warding the map to the Governor, that he would be requested

to return the secret copy (No. 22) of the previous issue which

has become obsolete.
